Emory University is a private, research university that has two main campuses: the Atlanta campus and the Oxford campus. The Atlanta campus, where Emory College is located, is in the Druid Hills neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia. The Oxford campus is located in Oxford, Georgia, a 30 minute drive away. Additionally, Emory University has nine schools of graduate, undergraduate and professional education. Emory University is the second oldest private college in Georgia, created just three years after Mercer University. The university offers over 140 degrees across many diverse professions, over 80 majors and 60 minors.
